Dealing with the Daily

What a tough few days getting started back on  the Weight Watchers plan.  Each day I get up my mind is saying to me it's OK to eat what ever you want.  I have had to fight those thoughts in my mind.  So far after three days of being on the Weight Watchers plan I am starting to feel more energetic.  It is amazing how food can mess with your moods  and put you into a  depressed state.  The awful thing is we allow it, even when we know what it does to us.

Have not done any running the last 5 days due to an injury, I'm dealing with.  I have however been able to do the Elliptcial and strenght training as long as I don't use really heavy weights.  I try to keep it at 5lbs.  I'm thankful that I am not down to where I can't do anything at all.

Going today for some Physical Therapy to see if they will be able to help me.  I, like all the other injured runners out there just want to run without pain.

Don't forget to enter my CSN Giveaway ends March 4.

  1. Eating the right stuff is always such a battle for me too... but gotta admit, I've been really good lately! Now if only the scale would reflect that!
Hope you're up back running soon!

  2. Good for you for getting the first few days out of the way on Weight Watchers! Those days are usually the toughest ones.
Isn't the feeling of move energy great motivation?
For the most part, I try to eat 'from the earth'. I think it's similar to WW Core plan. Fruits, veggies, (lean) meats, nuts, natural/unprocessed starches like potatoes, oatmeal, corn, quinoa, squash.
I do indulge now and then, everything in moderation!

Looking forward to falling your blog :-)
